The cosmetics industry is primarily based on making money, not on providing quality natural products. These companies exploit their workers, test their goods on animals and continue to reinforce unattainable beauty standards. As consumers, we are never actually told what makes up the products that we buy. In response to this, I developed my DIY cosmetics workshop and so I could teach people how to truly connect with their products, by turning the environment around them into healthy, organic, truly natural cosmetics. 

 

After this course, you will become self-reliant in your well-being, able to choose ingredients according to the properties that will benefit your skin the most in your current location and climate. You will be able to save money that would otherwise have gone to these companies. You will be able to save the environment by reusing and repurposing packaging over and over, no longer creating new plastic waste with every purchase.

Together we will explore the ingredients and their properties and at the end, you will have two tubes of colorful lip balm, a jar of body butter with UV protection and hydrating facial cream, all created with your own two hands.
